Jews harp with a loud, thick, industrial sound. The timbre is saturated, with a strong mechanical background, especially when stroking yourself. A long knee simplifies a loud play to the detriment of cleanliness and stability. The kit includes several magnets for weighting the tongue, which lowers the frequency, but some time after use, from magnetization, there is an extraneous buzz on the low amplitude of the tongue. The time of attenuation of the sound is great, and the shape of the decline curve is very pleasant. If you do not expect an accurate allocation of overtones from it, then the instrument is quite suitable for playing in techno/trance style with basic articulation and agressive breath.
